blogger's quilt festival

Amy's Creative Side

I am looking forward to visiting all the blogs and seeing the quilts that each one is showing for the Blogger's Quilt Festival this year!

I decided to showcase a quilt that I haven't ever blogged about, and I don't know why, because it is one
of my all-time favorites.
My entry is 107.

It is an original quilt, made up of a square in a square pattern using Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
It is one of my favorites because I love all the bright colorful flowers.  They look great together like a flower garden at its peak, with all its glorious blooms : )

The quilt measurements are 52 X 62 inches.  It was LA machine quilted by a friend, Debbie Croft.

I hope you will take some time to look around my blog.  I host two linky parties each week.  The first one is Little Quilt Monday, and it is for any small/mini quilt projects.  The other is Show Off Friday, and it is for any project that you would like to share.... both can be a WIP or finished.

piece,
elizabeth

Beautiful quilt! I'm probably the only one in Blogland who thinks that most all-Kaffe quilts are a bit overwhelming but you achieved a beautiful balance with your cutting and color choices, allowing the individual flowers to shine!

I love your quilt because I love all of those older Kaffe prints. They are so gorgeous and impossible to find any longer. I think your quilt is a real treasure and I can see why it's one of your favorites.
