antique quilts

Today is the first day for the giveaway at the Want to Be Quilter Campaign!  If you would like to sign up please go to this post, the prizes are amazing!

I have a few more antique quilts to add to my page above.  I wish I knew the story behind these beautiful quilts.  I guess that is why labels are so important : )  And I am always putting off adding a label to my quilts!

The pink pickle dish quilt is one of my favorites.  I like the lavender binding on the scalloped edge.

This pretty basket quilt use to live on my daughter's twin bed when she was a young girl.

This is a wonderful bow
tie quilt.  Notice how one of the bow
ties is set in a different direction.  The peach solid is so nice with the blues.

The last antique quilt is a grandmother's flower garden....lots of hexagons and color!

I am sorry about the fold lines on these quilts, I now have them laying flat on a bed to smooth those out
: )

What wonderful vintage quilts, lucky you to be the owner. Especially like the cheddar bow tie.

These are absolutely beautiful. I really love the outlining of the hexagon quilt.
