I have a bunch of fabric from Paris Flea Market by 3 Sisters for Moda. I have started playing with some of it and this is what I have done so far. I have made a couple quilts from this fabric line already.... one for my husband's administrative assistant as a comfort quilt during her chemo treatments, and the other to a sweet girl for graduation from high school a few years ago. It is such a lovely fabric line, and even though it is not new, it has a look of many current fabrics and the color is wonderful. This quilt is my own design, and I haven't decided how large it will be...I am going to leave it on my design wall and keep an eye on it for a while : )

wednesday's flower
I need a lavender flower for a mug rug for my daughter so this is what I came up with : ) I also thought I'd show you my first flower, the big one! I made it a few years ago and some day I intend to add more 30's hexagons to it.

find the odd block
I have a nice vintage blue and white baby quilt that I use as a wall hanging. It has four blocks and one of them is different from the others. Can you find the odd block? The pictures below reveal the answer : )

free quilt magazine
I have discovered a free quilt magazine called Quiltposium. It is a free publication by Sew Many Places
and it is full of interesting articles and the Spring issue has 24 quilt patterns to download! Sew Many Places is a travel site for quilters, and the magazine does include the current tours, however, they are also interesting to read. The website to view the magazine is www.Quiltposium.com. I am not affiliated with this magazine, I just thought some of my fellow quilters might be interested : )

bee blocks
I received such a beautiful Bachelor's Puzzle block from Lynette for our March swap.
She also sent some notecards that she made using some of her scraps!
And here is the block that I sent to her. She requested a Mother's Dream quilt block with autumn colors.
I have been out-of-town and hope to have more to show you soon : )

thunder up
We are fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA basketball team. By the way, they beat the Heat last night : ) When I found this fabric I knew what I had to do. I made a little quilt/mug rug for my son to put on his desk at work. He's a new lawyer, with a new office and I thought he needed something fun on his desk so here goes! Thunder Up!
I am having a busy week, so very little sewing going on : (
