I have a limited number of embroidery stitches under my belt, but I
still find that stitching is very relaxing and satisfying.
I chose a pattern by bee tree designs to make a mug rug for my daughter.

This project measures 7 X 8.5 inches...the perfect size for a cup of tea.
I like to make french knots, so I had to include some in this embroidery piece : )
The fabric that I used was linen and Kitchy Kitchen by Maude Asbury for Blend fabrics.
The thread was Presencia No. 12.
I hope you will take some time to visit all the other blogs taking part in this fun blog hop.
Thank you so much, Jane and Madame Samm for organizing this for all of us!
