Little Quilt Monday
I finished my Disappearing 16 Patch mini quilt and I have my
Prairie Points mini quilt ready for hand stitching!
First I will show you my finished mini quilt.
The hand stitching is with neutral crochet thread and the binding is scrappy solids.
The mini quilt measurements are 18 X 18 inches.
Now for my Prairie Points mini quilt flimsy. The fabric for the PP is Tweet Tweet
by Keiki for Moda. The background fabric is linen.
I can't decide whether I like them facing up or down better.
I made this while in Colorado, so I will probably pick the
mountain look : )
Now it is your turn to link up something to
Little Quilt Monday
1. This link-up party is for any small project. For example, mini quilts, doll quilts, baby quilts, place mats, mug rugs, purses,
wall quilts, table runners, etc.
2. They can be a WIP(work-in-progress) or finished.
3. If it is something from the past there is no need to write a new blog post, just link the one that you have already written, and please link back to my blog post.
Love how your 16 patch mini quilt turned out and I like the prairie points pointing up too.
ReplyDeleteI love your mini quilt.
ReplyDeleteThey both look great! I love how the quilting and binding turned out on the mini quilt, and I like the "mountain" look on the prairie points, too!
ReplyDeleteLove your mini!
ReplyDeleteI love how the 16 patch looks with the sashing around it. Your hand stitching is awesome, as always. So pretty! I agree... since you made the prairie points in Colorado, I think "mountains" are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThey both look amazing! Love the hand stitching and those cute prairie points. If you make it into a wall hanging you could have it either way up to suit your mood at the time =D
ReplyDeleteLove the mini quilt - and those Prairie points look amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour two little quilts are very cute. I really like the Prairie point one.
ReplyDeleteVery creative little quilt.
ReplyDeleteDo you think you could publish the code for your Little Quilt Monday badge so I could put it on my blog and direct more people to your blog and to the Linky party?
Thanks!
Once upon a time, I found a tutorial to make continuous prairie points. It was so cool to think that you could make a really long chain of them and they'd be evenly spaced (I've done them the old-fashioned way) and have been dying to try it ever since. I thought I bookmarked it, but I can't find it now. Anyway, love your prairie points. That fabric is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your disappearing 16-patch mini. The colors are so pretty and your stitching is so lovely. I love the pieced binding, as well! Nicely done! Thank you for linking up!
