100th post giveaway


This is my 100th post for 2011 and Tiger and I thought a giveaway was in order so here goes : )
If you follow my blog, I want to thank you for reading about my quilting/blogging journey.  I have a charm pack from Moda called Dogwood Trail by Sentimental Studios.  It is a bright, cheerful pack of pinks and greens and blues.

To enter please leave me a comment with ideas for using a charm pack.  Reminder....this is for followers of my blog and, of course, new followers are always welcome!

    Congratulations on your 100th post in 2011, that's great. When I have one charm pack (which I love by the way) I usually make a simple Disapearing Nine Patch table topper. Just the right size for my square table. Would like to have one for each season and holiday, guess I better get busy.

    There are some real nice tote bags that can be made from Charm packs. Congrat's on your 100th post.

    I'd like to try making flying geese out of charm squares. I ran across an old blog post out there that talked about making them out of charm squares and a ruler (Fit to be Geese). Ever since, I've had an hankering to try making some. :-)

    To make charming quilts of course! I use them alot to make coin quilts for charity - fast & easy. And I follow you - congrats on 100 posts - you do a good job of it!

    Would love to make a scrappy window covering for my daugther's 2x2 foot window (she also has a super large window too!). It needs something special and I think this would be just the ticket! I also follow you :)

    I like to use a matching gingham and just frame each square. Usually this makes a generous cot quilt or lap quilt. It makes up really quickly and looks fabulous. Congratulations on your 100 posts and thanks for the celebratory giveaway

    At the moment I'm loving alternating a charm pack with 5" plain squares and putting embroidery/applique on them to go with the theme of the charm pack.

    So many great ideas for this beautiful charm pack. Some of it would go into a spring art quilt. It's also my daughter's colors, and so that might mean a cute purse for her.

    Lately, I seem to want to make pieced stars with charm packs --and I will eventually turn them into a scrap quilt!
