anniversary day and giveaway celebration


Today I am celebrating my first year of blogging about my quilting adventures.  This was what I said on my first blog post:


This is the beginning of a new adventure for me. I hope it will help me become a more active quilter!


I can say that I have been more active in starting quilting projects this year.  Now, as I begin my second year in blogland, I hope to finish more projects : )


As part of my celebration, I am hosting a giveaway.  I decided to have 2 winners and they will each win a charm pack.  One will be for followers only, and the other will be for anyone that comments whether you follow my blog or not.  The Moda charm packs are Summer House by Lily Ashbury and Jovial by Basic Grey.


Here are the rules:


Please comment only once and tell me which charm pack is your favorite, and if you follow my blog(new followers too :), please mention that in the same comment.  I will leave the comments open until Thursday, July 28th and I will pick my winners randomly and post the results on Friday, July 29th.

    Hi Elizabeth ... i am a follower of your blog .. and i love to read it ... however this is the first time i have commented ..
    i love the moda summer house charm pack . the blues .. greens and reds are just so .. ummm ... bright and summery .. (is that a word??) haha ..

    Hello Elizabeth, congratulations on your one year of blogging. I have been a follower for a while. I love both charm packs and wouldn't mind receiving either one of them, but I suppose if I have to pick one, I would choose Jovial.

    They're both great charms packs, but I think I prefer Jovial. Lovely fabrics. My favorite? Jeez...I dunno. Maybe the Jovial. They're both lovely, though. If by chance I'm one of the winners, and the other winner would prefer Jovial, then I would be more than happy with Summer House. My stash is virtually non-existence, so I'd be thrilled to win either one. Happy Blogaversary!

    Congratulations on your anniversary. My one year blog anniversary slipped by without any fanfare. I'm coming up for my 2 year soon, I guess I should plan something special for that!

    I love the Summer House fabrics (although it seems so does everyone else too). I'm a lover of lovely, bright, happy colours. And I'm a follower of you too, so keep up the good work ;)
